Ganga Aarti Hardwar
Ganga Aarti Hardwar is performed at Har-ki-Pauri, its is one of the famous rituals in India. It starts in the after sunset, with great crowds gathered in the region of both the banks of a canal that carries the waters of Ganges. You should pay a visit to this temple at the twilight.

Har Ki Pauri
Har Ki Pauri is also known as Brahmakund. According to the Hindu mythology, it was King Vikrmaditya who built the Har Ki Pauri temple in Haridwar. Throughout the day, devotees keep on taking a holy dip in the Ganges and offering prayers at Har Ki Pauri.
Chardham Yatra
Haridwar is the entry point for auspicious char dham yatra.
Nestling in the lofty peaks are the four most holy pilgrimages of India -Yamunotri, Gangotri, Sri Kedarnathji and Sri Badrinathji, collectively referred to as the Char Dham ( or four pilgrimage centres) of Hinduism. For centuries, saints and pilgrims, in their search for the divine, have walked these mystical vales known in ancient Hindu scriptures as 'Kedarkhand'.

Gangotri
This 18th century temple constructed by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa, is near the spot where the goddess Ganga is said to have first descended on earth from heaven, in answer to the prayers of King Bhagriath.

Yamnotri
The revered shrine of Yamunotri, source of the shadow of the 6,315 mts. high Bandarpunchh mountain.Asit Muni, used to reside here in ancient times. The chief attraction is the temple of goddess Yamuna and thermal springs at Jankichatti (7 km.Away).

Shri Kedarnath Ji
The Sri Kedarnathji shrine, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Sri Kedarnathji range. At an altitude of 3,581 mts. It is a 14 kms. trek from Gaurikund.

Shri Badrinath Ji
Situated in the lap of Nar-Narayan Parvat. It is believed that to revive the lost prestige of Hinduism and to unite the country in one bond, Adi Guru Sri Shankaracharya built four pilgrimage centres in four corners of India. Among them were Badrikashram in the north
Rishikesh
Known as the ‘Abode of Sages’.
This little town is situated at the confluence of rivers Chandrabhaga and Ganga. Haridwar and Rishikesh nestled calmly.
Rishikesh is famous for Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Rishikesh Ashrams, Bharat Mandir, Triveni Ghat, Swarg Ashram & Parmarth Niketan.
Rafting
The major sporting activity in Rishikesh is White Water Rafting. Many adventurous tourists visit this place to experience the real challenges of white water rafting. September-November and March-May are ideal for rafting in Rishikesh.
